Description

The position is responsible for supporting process innovation at the pilot plant and for helping to drive development and growth through new process design, technology scaling, equipment selection, and process and product optimization in support of the company’s goals for cost, quality and delivery. This hands-on position will also deal with problems arising in the manufacturing process involving processes, equipment, and machinery.This position is also responsible to drive a fast and hands-on learning culture. The Ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability to change and comfort navigating through ambiguity.Key responsibilities: 

    • Support the effective execution of pilot plant trials and process capability evaluations, to ensure the robustness of our manufacturing processes
    • Support test plans and use Statistical Process Control data analysis to quantify key process, manufacturing parameters and fundamental mechanisms at pilot scale
    • Perform and conduct modelling to evaluate scalable operating specifications
    • Develop a working knowledge of dry form processes and material handling
    • Develop a working knowledge of operational capabilities (controls, automation, maintenance, inventory management, capital management, etc) to best develop and optimize new manufacturing processes
    • Lead and drive continuous improvement efforts for the production processes and testing requirements
    • Help develop and implement training programs for production members and other site in the network.
    • Work as part of the local MTS team to support and strengthen technical learning plans
    • Provide technical leadership for production line design, optimization, and problem solving.
    • Project Management and Budget responsibilities are required

 

Education/Qualifications/skills:

    • Licence or Master’s Degree specializing in a particular field (management, engineering, chemistry, pharmacist, etc.)
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry with demonstrated project execution experience
    • Experience in relevant GMP subjects (eg :EU, FDA, Japan nice to have)
    • Green belt certification and experience in Design of Experiment (DoE) is a plus
    • Good knowledge of various types pharmaceutical dosage form
    • Good command of English and fluent in local language
