Project: For our client, a large diagnostics company in Rotkreuz, Zug, we are looking for a qualified Production Engineer (m/f/d)

Background: The global sub-chapter Production Engineering - Change Services is part of the global Engineering Chapter responsible for cost efficient, reliable and lean Change Control Management (ECRs). The scope of this team is mainly on Product Care topics for established products and introduction of new products from pilot phase to commercial production. The sub-chapter brings in technical expertise to deliver successful material, system, process and product changes.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering and at least three years of professional experience in a highly regulated production environment. They also have initial experience in engineering change management or project management and basic programming skills in Tableau (a data management tool) or R Studio. Fluency in German and English is required. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Tasks & Responsibilities: • ECR Coordination: Responsible for planning, coordinating, technically assessing, assigning tasks, and implementing changes (ECRs) in consultation with the Product Leader and/or Team Leader. • Creation and maintenance of specification and verification documentation, work plans, material master data, and bills of materials. Training on the required documents. • Responsible for the smooth implementation and phase-out of changes in production. • Analysis and trending of ECRs. Preparation of information for product meetings. • Proactive management and communication (escalation where necessary) to ensure the timely completion of ECRs. • Ensures that specification and verification documents as well as master data for product manufacturing are created, released, and training is conducted in a timely manner and in accordance with process and quality specifications. • For NPIs: Supports development projects and assists, for example, in the creation of samples and prototypes, coordinates the required materials, and provides feedback on manufacturability. • Responsible for compliance with quality targets, deadlines, and regulatory requirements. • Active stakeholder management

Additional tasks: • Processes actions resulting from deviations and ensures that internal interfaces are involved. • Continuously optimizes workflows towards a LEAN ECR service. Actively supports improvement measures within and outside the Engineering Chapter, in consultation with the Sub-Chapter Lead. • Leads smaller projects assigned by the Product Lead or Sub-Chapter Lead (e.g., KvP). • Contributes to and participates in CoPs, Squads, and Project Teams in consultation with the Sub-Chapter Lead.

Must-haves: • Bachelor's degree or preferably Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable Life Science degree • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a strictly regulated production environment, preferably GMP-regulated • Initial experience in Engineering Change Management or Project Management; experience in leading projects is an advantage • Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement is an advantage • Experience with Microsoft Office applications is required; initial programming skills in Tableau (Data Management Tool) or R Studios are an advantage • Fluent German and English skills are required ____________________________________________________________________________________ Reference No .: 924568 Role : Production Engineer (m/f/d) Industry: Pharmaceuticals Location: Rotkreuz Workload: 100% Start: ASAP (Start date: April 1, 2026) Duration: Permanent Application deadline: November 17, 2025
