Job Description

• Ensure timely, high-quality communication of relevant information (funding decisions, policy updates, etc.) to countries and development partners;
• Deliver timely and accurate completion of the various steps of the grant management process, ensuring high quality of documents under PM's responsibility;
• Ensure compliance with policies, requirements, agreed timelines, formats and quality standards;
• Proactively identify and address issues, risks and improvement opportunities related to grant management and other tasks under PM's responsibility;
• Maintain a high level of satisfaction among regional team members and stakeholders with regard to the quality, timeliness, and proactiveness of support provided;
• Foster productive collaboration with Secretariat colleagues, country counterparts, and partner agencies.

The Successful Applicant

• Grant management expertise - skilled in coordinating the full grant cycle, ensuring compliance, risk management, and timely delivery of quality documentation.
• Analytical ability - experienced in reviewing, interpreting, and analysing programme data and partner inputs to inform decisions and improve processes.
• Communication and information management - adept at producing clear, timely communications, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring effective information flow across teams and partners.
• Collaboration and support - proven ability to work across teams, provide back-up to senior colleagues, and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Meeting and event participation - effective contributor in internal and external discussions, regional meetings, and country-level engagements.
