Job Description
Project Leadership and Governance
- Lead the intranet project across all phases, including design, development, integration, deployment, and transition to operations.
- Establish clear governance structures, decision-making processes, and escalation mechanisms to support effective delivery.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, dependencies, and risks in line with agreed objectives and constraints.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, specifications, risk logs, and reporting materials.
Stakeholder and Requirements Management
- Build and sustain strong working relationships with technical teams, business units, and senior stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular consultations, workshops, and status updates to ensure ongoing alignment and engagement.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable project requirements and technical specifications.
Solution Design and Integration
- Work closely with IT teams to define and oversee integrations between the intranet and enterprise systems (e.g. identity management, collaboration tools, HR systems).
- Balance standard platform capabilities with necessary customizations to meet critical organizational needs.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and optimize digital workflows.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Monitor and report on project progress against defined milestones, success measures, and quality criteria.
- Provide regular updates, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholders and steering groups.
- Track adoption, user satisfaction, and efficiency indicators post-launch.
The Successful Applicant
Essential
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management roles.
- Proven experience managing digital platforms, intranets, or internal communication systems in complex organizations.
- Strong knowledge of collaboration and content platforms (e.g. SharePoint); experience with similar enterprise tools required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across business and IT functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
- Formal project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2).
