Job Description
- Perform microbiological testing and shipment of water, bulk, and raw material samples
- Collect water samples and ensure microbiological and chemical monitoring
- Conduct second-level bulk manufacturing controls (organoleptic, pH, viscosity, density, centrifugation, microscopy, Karl Fischer)
- Open and manage Out-Of-Specification (OOS) and Non-Conformance (NC) cases
- Participate in investigations of OOS, NCs, and customer complaints, including QC report writing
- Prepare certificates of analysis and enter analytical results into SAP
- Archive QC documentation and manage bulk sample retention
- Communicate daily non-conformities to QC Raw Materials, Bulk and Analytical Coordinators
- Receive, identify, and monitor laboratory chemicals, including COA verification
- Create and review laboratory and bulk specifications and maintain records in SAP
- Perform calibration and maintenance follow-up of laboratory equipment
- Contribute to laboratory organization, cleanliness, and continuous improvement initiatives
The Successful Applicant
- Degree or technical training in chemistry, biology, or a related scientific field
- Previous experience in Quality Control within pharmaceutical or industrial environments
- Knowledge of microbiological and physicochemical testing methods
- Familiarity with GMP, quality systems, and regulated laboratory practices
- Experience with SAP and laboratory documentation systems is an asset
- Comfortable working with analytical techniques such as HPLC and GC
- Methodical, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Able to work autonomously while collaborating with QC, production, and quality teams
- Fluent in French; working knowledge of English is an advantage
