Quality Technician

We're looking for a :
Duration : 6 months

The successful applicant will join TL&G in the Fast Screening Laboratories in Neuchâtel whose objective is to provide high quality analytical data from tobacco products. This also includes improvement of current methods and/or validation of new analytical methods in order to support the Risk Reduced Products (RRPs).

Specifically, her/his main accountabilities will be:

1. Perform various physical laboratory analyses such as Omiflex, Aging Study, water activity according to the analytical methods
2. Participate to the development and validation of analytical methods and qualification of instruments used
3. Work in close collaboration with the production personnel in order to ensure necessary skills as well as the implementation of good practices to meet our quality standards.
4. Perform problem-solving techniques and maintenance of instruments.
5. Organize planning activities and manage interaction with partners

• College: laboratory technician
• At least 2 years of experience in laboratory accredited environment (ISO 17025) is an asset
• At ease with quality systems and database management (LIMS)
• Fluency in English and French is an asset
• Teamwork and cooperation
