Quantitative Researcher

We are seeking a researcher who thrives in a dynamic trading environment and use state-of-the-art techniques from data science, statistics, and applied mathematics to develop mathematical models of the financial markets.

The ideal candidate should be commercially driven and possess a deep intellectual curiosity as well as a track record of exceptional intellectual achievement.

What You Will Do
develop mathematical models of financial markets
maintain and further develop knowledge systems
produce ad hoc analysis based on short-term market developments
Communicate with team and other internal Koch teams to constantly evaluate assumptions

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
an advanced degree in a relevant STEM field
strong programming skills (R or Python) and system design skills
good knowledge of financial markets: commodities, equities and fixed income
collaborative mindset with strong spatial awareness

What Will Put You Ahead
experience with complex models of the financial markets and trading algorithms
previous experience in a trading environment
