Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative candidate to join our in vitro drug discovery team in Geneva. You will participate to the design and hands-on implementation of new biological assays, to help us identify the binding sites and modes of action of small therapeutic molecules (allosteric modulators) targeting GPCRs. You will contribute to the discovery of novel allosteric modulators and to the identification of clinical candidates, that address human conditions with high unmet medical need. We expect you to be self-driven, a strong team player, with excellent organisational and communication skills.

• design fusion proteins, suitable for cellular signalling using FRET/BRET approaches
• generate mammalian cell lines expressing the assay system
• experimentally characterize binding, and biological activity of allosteric modulators
• analyse & document results, provide pharmacological interpretations
• prepare presentations, suggest follow-up experiments
• use software tools to analyse mode of action of our compounds on a molecular level
• supervise the work of interns in our team

Required skills
• Masters’ degree (or equivalent), in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Neuroscience, Live Science Engineering, or in a related field
