Your responsibilities
As a System R&D Engineer, you are the architect with a global view on the products under your responsibility. You are a key player during the design phase of any new multi-axis motion system. Your expertise and knowledge of these products are precious to sustain them in production and also support our customers when these new products are integrated at their place. Your daily challenges and expected skills are as follows:

- Leading the conceptual design phase to select the architecture to go for. You are responsible to drive the technical team and prove that the solution will meet the requirements.
- Assembling our prototypes in-house. You define the qualifications to be done, you are involved in the experimental setup and you actually carry out the tests. You analyze the results and do proposals to improve the product performance.
- For the series production, you define the tests to be done in production and you participate in the definition of the acceptance criteria. You follow the product at our customers’ facilities and you bring your knowledge on it to analyze customers’ feedback.
Running simulations and proving the validity of the concept and also to analyze the tests carried out on prototypes.

Your qualifications
- University degree (Master or PhD) in control, electrical or mechanical engineering
- Proven experience (at least 3 years) in a similar position is requested
- Proficiency with MATLAB and SIMULINK
- Fluent written and spoken English, French is an advantage
- You must have proven expertise with concrete achievements in at least one of the following domains: control engineering, mechanical design or metrology
- Very good knowledge and understanding of physical phenomena (e.g. thermo-mechanical coupling, static deformation, vibrational or modal analysis) is a necessity.

- You are also expected to be autonomous with a Finite Element Modeling software; knowledge in ANSYS is a plus
