Regional Sales Leader - Europe & Americas

As Regional Sales Leader – Europe & Americas, you will lead and execute Sateco’s sales and business development across Europe and the Americas. In this leadership role, you will combine business development with hands-on customer engagement, develop key customer relationships, and support the growth of Sateco's business within the global automotive industry.

Reporting directly to the CSO, you will lead a small international sales team and play a key role in building a proactive, performance-driven sales organization focused on sustainable growth and long-term customer success.

Job Location: Preferably based in the DACH-Region with regular travel to the US.

You are a hands-on sales professional with proven experience developing customer relationships, winning new business, and supporting sales teams in an international automotive environment. With your strong leadership personality, you have the ability to challenge, inspire, and develop high-performing sales teams while maintaining a high level of accountability and assertiveness. You champion customer centricity and offer extensive experience negotiating long-term customer agreements and developing key account relationships. Driven by an international mindset, you are fluent in English and genuinely enjoy traveling across Europe and the Americas.

Your Challenges

Sales Leadership & Business Development

  • Execute the regional sales strategy aligned with global business objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop small international sales teams across Europe and the US.
  • Deliver regional sales, customer growth and new business targets. Drive customer penetration and lead complex commercial negotiations with key accounts.
  • Coordinate global account management activities closely with teams in Asia.
  • Support growth in targeted market segments and secure early engagement on global OEM platforms.

Commercial Excellence

  • Manage pricing strategies in highly competitive and volatile market environments.
  • Drive sales excellence through KPI-based steering and Salesforce transparency.
  • Ensure disciplined pipeline, RFQ, and quotation management.

Your Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience in B2B sales within a Tier 2 component environment
  • Experience leading or mentoring sales personnel and coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Strong track record in winning and developing OEM/Tier 1 business
  • Deep understanding of RFQ processes, pricing structures, and long sales cycles
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in English and good knowledge of German
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the EU and US regions
