Release Manager (80-100%)

Location: Geneva When: 1 January 2026 or upon availability 

Your mission:

As member of the Release Planning team, you will manage the Joint Release Planning (JRP) activities for Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Air Navigation Services (ANS) technology releases, overseeing the deployment of evolutions from three technology divisions. To ensure the success of these releases, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing all JRP-related activities, while anticipating any possible setbacks and adjusting the planning as needed. The role places strong emphasis on validating operational readiness, ensuring that all releases meet the predefined compliance, performance and stability criteria before deployment in operational and non-operational environments.

Your tasks:

  • Act as Application Owner of the Joint Release Planning (JRP2.0) tool
  • Act as deputy to the Process Manager for the 'Joint Release Planning & Governance' and 'Releases & Deployment' processes
  • Ensure realistic planning and scoping of ATM/ANS releases. Check with the relevant stakeholders (business analysts, quality officers, technical assurance managers and engineering change managers) that dependencies and constraints are identified and managed
  • Ensure system configurations required for planned releases are available in a timely manner
  • Generate key performance indicators related to the release lifecycle and create and submit release reports
  • Use these reports and indicators to support engineering change managers in making deployment go/no-go decisions and to facilitate lessons learned sessions

What we are looking for:

  • Engineering degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working on processes and activities related to release/project management and deployment
  • Hands-on experience with the application lifecycle management tool 'Polarion'
  • Motivation: You are driven by purpose, taking initiative to move things forward
  • Teamwork: You engage in interactions with diverse team members and actively contribute information, ideas, and insights in meetings or other interactions
  • Continuous learning: You are curious and actively seek out and engage in learning opportunities and transfer the acquired knowledge in your daily work
  • Proficient in English written and spoken, good command in French or German is an asset
