As a Supplier Quality Assurance Lead, you will not only monitor quality: you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of critical components, structuring quality processes, and managing a dedicated team. Mission As a Supplier Quality Assurance Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products purchased by BOBST. You will lead supplier quality assurance activities in a demanding industrial environment, closely collaborating with R&D, production, and the Procurement Center, which encompasses Procurement and Quality activities. You play a key role in the performance and reliability of our supply chain. In the Quality department, you are responsible for managing and steering a portfolio of suppliers in quality assurance. Responsibilities Management Lead a QA team (~8 people) Define priorities and drive action plans related to sourcing in conjunction with techniques Collaborate with R&D to improve products and plans related to parts and suppliers (new items, new partners) Quality Monitoring Handle non-conformities, track action plans, and credit notes Performance Track and improve supplier quality KPIs Organize visits and continuous proposals for phase-out for non-compliant suppliers Escalate systemic issues Profile Mechanic / Electromechanic (HES) or in industrial engineering (10 years in an industrial environment) Experience in machine tools and supplier quality assurance Technical Skills Mastery of quality standards: ISO, FMEA, 8D, APQP, PPAP, SPC Tools: SAP, advanced Excel, Visio Languages French and English (professional level) German or Italian (a plus) Soft Skills Leadership and team coaching Analytical mindset, rigor, and ability to synthesize Excellent communication skills and listening ability Ease in defining processes and procedures Join us – and grow with us.
