As a successful applicant, you will join our Science and Research - Analytical Sciences department in Geneva. You are a highly motivated chemist eager to strengthen our expertise in our "Manufacturing Process Development and Optimization" group and contribute to the development of our new products through analytical chemistry.

Your key responsibilities
Identify, address and resolve chemical development and production challenges by conducting detailed analytical investigations and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams, applying your expertise in analytical and organic chemistry.
Propose innovative approaches, such as advanced spectroscopic techniques, to enhance the success of process and reaction monitoring initiatives.
Manage and mentor a team of technicians, fostering their professional development and ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of their various projects.
Plan, prioritize, and execute experiments to effectively address the scientific challenges presented.
Build strategic relationships and communicate results clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.

You bring:
PhD in chemistry, with proven theoretical and hands-on experience in analytical chemistry and sound knowledge of organic chemistry.
Strong background in qualitative and quantitative chromatography (GCMS, LCMS), and vibrational spectroscopy a plus.
Track record in statistics, advanced (multivariate) data processing, with special focus on compound identification.
Sound knowledge of chromatographic and spectroscopic software, as well as programming skills (Python, R) is a plus.
Creativity and imagination to solve complex analytical problems following a rigorous scientific approach.
Open-minded personality and ability to deliver in a cross-functional environment.
Excellent team spirit, communication and organization skills and networking capability.
Fluent in English, working knowledge of French is considered a plus.
