This role demands a confident, assertive individual, adept at leading and moderating critical market discussions. You will be expected to actively challenge prevailing views and articulate your insights with conviction, fostering robust analytical outcomes. Your resilience, keen eye for detail, superior organizational skills, and communication abilities will be crucial in navigating demanding interactions and influencing strategic decisions. Actionable Insights & Influence: Present critical insights with executive presence to internal stakeholders (commercial, risk management, senior management), stimulating strategic discussions that directly influence trading positions and risk exposure.
Advanced Fundamental Analysis: oversee global supply & demand balance sheets for the softseeds complex (30-day to 18-month outlook), conduct rigorous trade flow analysis, and deconstruct complex market value constructs.
Data & Model Expertise: Oversee and refine data collection, management, and analysis processes, ensuring data integrity. Proficiently learn and operate advanced analytical models, continuously seeking to identify root causes of market dynamics.
Foundational Expertise Required:
A Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a comparable analytical role within commodity markets including strong understanding of supply and demand fundamentals.
