Job Description
You will be joining the Corporate Systems team, which is dedicated to providing a reliable working environment and productivity tools for over 1,000 employees. This includes managing third-party applications via public-cloud vendors and maintaining a fleet of on-premise servers and services using Infrastructure as Code principles.You will work in a demanding environment that values an engineering mindset and prioritizes simple, elegant solutions over complexity.
- IAM Engineer: Manage identities, access, and security within Microsoft environments, specifically with Entra and Active Directory.
- Teams Administration: Oversee Teams administration, Exchange Online, and ensure compliance with Microsoft Purview, playing a key role in managing and securing communication and collaboration tools.
- Infrastructure and configurationas Code: Create and manage infrastructure as code to streamline cloud operations and maintenance tasks.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security and compliance standards, including data protection, identity management, and access controls.
- Cost Management: Assist management in tracking and optimizing cloud expenditure to achieve stable and predictable cost structures
Qualifications
- Experience: 7-10 years in systems engineering with a focus on Microsoft technologies is a solid requirement. It ensures candidates have substantial hands-on experience.
- Certifications: (MS-900, SC-900) Entra, Active Directory, Office 365, Purview, MDE, AIP, and Power Platform certifications are crucial for validating expertise in these areas.
- Technical Skills: Extensive experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, and Microsoft Azure is essential for managing and maintaining the infrastructure.
- Security Expertise: Strong knowledge in endpoint security, user behavior analysis, and security policies using Microsoft Defender products is vital for maintaining a secure environment.
- IaC Proficiency: Skills in Ansible, Terraform, and ARM templating are important for automating infrastructure management.
- CI/CD Familiarity: Knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD is necessary for streamlining development and deployment processes.
- Problem-Solving and Communication: A systematic approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills, and a sense of ownership and drive are key attributes for success in this role.
- Additional Certifications: Certifications like Microsoft Certified: Entra, Azure Administrator Associate, or Azure Security Engineer Associate are beneficial.
- Programming Skills: PowerShell, Python, C, C++, Ruby, Rust, JQL, KQL
- Adaptability: The ability to quickly learn and work with new technologies, methodologies, and IT solutions is crucial in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.
