About Our Client

Our client is a well-established private bank in Switzerland and other international financial places.

Job Description

• Integrating the Compliance department of the Bank;
• Managing the opening of high-risk accounts and PEPs clients;
• Transactions monitoring from an AML perspective;
• Analysis and drafting of complex cases for presentation to the ARC (Account and Review Committee) / Executive Committee;
• Daily processing of customer database alerts;
• Processing changes in circumstances (CDB, change of domicile, etc.);
• Daily processing of blocked account transactions;
• Drafting and submission of MROS communications via GoAML;
• Processing requests from correspondent banks;
• Processing requests from other internal departments (reference letters, credit applications, etc.);
• Carrying out quality control on opening files processed by the first line of defence (BRM);
• Providing training and supporting the staff on compliance-related matters;
• Collaborating on projects at Swiss Bank and Group level;
• Link with other internal departments of the Bank;
• Participating in the daily life in the Geneva office.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
• Minimum of five years of experience in a compliance role within the private banking sector in Geneva;
• Fluency in French, English is essential, another language (German, Arabic) a big plus;
• Strong knowledge of Swiss banking regulations and international compliance standards;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Swiss residence mandatory.
