Job Description
The main responsibilities of the Senior Consolidation Analyst and Holdings Accountant we are looking for will be the following:
Statutory Holdings Reporting
- Maintain the general and analytical accounting (all holding entities)
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, notes, and disclosures
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual local & IFRS financial statements
- Perform reconciliations
- Liaise with auditors and tax consultants
- Provide administrative support related to accounting and financial activities
- Accounting entry for various companies
- Accounting and control of payroll entries
- Preparation of FX analysis, interest invoices for Group loans, and various re-invoicing
- Periodic tax declaration
Statutory Reporting & Consolidation
- Contribute to the quarterly consolidation process, according to IFRS standards, ensuring accuracy and timely completion and the drafting of the accounts and closing notes
- Collect, analyse quarterly consolidation packages from subsidiaries and follow up open points
- Manage balance sheet reviews
Ensuring compliance with Group accounting policies, tax regulations, and local GAAP, including support for the conversion to IFRS
Process improvement
- Streamlined accounting & consolidation processes
- Staying updated with the latest IFRS standards and adapting processes and SOPs accordingly
- Collaborating in process improvements and streamlining reporting procedures
- Participate in the updating of the group's accounting procedures and assist/train subsidiaries for their proper application
The Successful Applicant
The Senior Consolidation Analyst and Holdings Accountant will bring the following background and experience :
- 5-10 years proven experience in a similar role
- Solid understanding of IFRS and statutory consolidation
- Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial information
- Team & Hands-On working style; Good organizational skills, autonomous and reliable
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Hyperion HFM knowledge would be a strong asset
- Business fluent in English and French is a must, any further European language is an asset
- Adaptable -Discreet - Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism
- Rigorous, Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow in a demanding setting
