Description

Infrastructure Strategy & Architecture

  • Lead the design and maintenance of the organization's infrastructure to support strategic goals.
  • Administer and enhance cloud environments (primarily Azure), ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development teams to establish robust deployment, monitoring, and incident response workflows (tech stack includes TypeScript and
  • Develop infrastructure solutions using tools such as Terraform, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and services like Kubernetes, MSSQL, Front Door, Service Bus, and Azure Storage.
  • Maintain and innovate on private blockchain infrastructure components (, Tessera, Geth) to support ongoing technical initiatives.

Operational Reliability

  • Provide advanced-level support for infrastructure-related incidents, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable secure and efficient software releases.
  • Continuously optimize infrastructure usage and spending while maintaining high performance and availability.
  • Champion DevOps methodologies, automation, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.

Security & Risk Management

  • Define and enforce infrastructure security protocols, including VPN configurations and internal access policies.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and develop comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.

Team Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a skilled DevOps team, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Promote effective collaboration between engineering, operations, and support teams to ensure seamless infrastructure performance.
  • Oversee external vendors managing productivity tools (, O365), ensuring service quality and compliance.

Profile

  • Proficiency in Terraform, Microsoft Azure / Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and cloud cost management.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting.
  • Strong grasp of infrastructure security, compliance standards, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and solve complex problems in fast-paced environments.
  • Self-driven and hands-on, with a proactive approach to challenges.
