Description
Depending on the organisation and role level, responsibilities may include:
Ownership of month?end, quarter?end and year?end closing
Preparation and review of statutory financial statements (Swiss GAAP OR and/or IFRS)
Coordination with external auditors, tax advisors and internal stakeholders
Oversight of general ledger, balance sheet and P&L
Ensuring compliance with local accounting regulations and internal controls
Participation in process optimisation, automation or ERP (SAP) initiatives
Coaching and mentoring of junior accountants (for manager-level roles)
Profile
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar
5+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting, ideally in Switzerland
Solid knowledge of Swiss GAAP OR and/or IFRS
Hands?on experience with ERP systems (SAP FI / S/4HANA highly advantageous)
Fluent German AND English preferred
Structured, reliable and proactive working style
Experience in audit, industry or shared service environments is welcome
