We are looking for our client a Senior Group Financial Reporting Analyst reporting directly to the Group Financial Reporting Manager.

This is a temporary contract starting as soon as possible.

Description

This Senior Group Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible of the following:

Monthly Financial Reporting and consolidation

  • Lead the monthly close accounting processes, working closely with finance internationally to ensure accurate and achievable financial targets
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting deadlines within the group in order to base the decisions of the Executive Committee on the latest available data
  • Ensure the consistency and quality of the data uploaded by the international finance teams
  • Update reporting procedures based on ongoing projects and training of the financial community
  • Ensure that the HFM structure is updated to meet reporting needs
  • Analyze overall financial trends, variances, and performance metrics to identify areas of opportunity or concern and provide recommendations for improvement

Financial Analysis and Reporting

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including flash and presentations with R&A team for executive leadership, highlighting key performance indicators, financial metrics, and strategic insights
  • Consolidate budget, target and forecast as required by corporate calendar
  • Other tasks and participation to projects as defined

Process Improvement and Optimization

  • Identify opportunities and drive recommendations to streamline the accounting processes in order to enhance reporting capabilities and improve efficiency and accuracy of financial data
  • Staying updated with the latest IFRS standards and adapting processes and SOPs accordingly
  • Initiating process improvements and streamlining reporting procedures
  • Participate in the updating of the group's accounting procedures and assist/train subsidiaries for their proper application
  • Update reporting procedures based on ongoing projects and training of the financial community

Profile

The Senior Group Financial Reporting Analyst should bring the following background and experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a corporate/group finance position
  • Qualified accountant with strong background in IFRS experience
  • Solid knowledge of the Hyperion and HFM
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Business fluent in English and French is a must, any further European language is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial information
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to structure your thoughts and derive action plans for your team to execute, as well as the ability to communicate efficiently across all staff and stakeholders levels
  • Team & Hands-On working style; Good organizational skills, autonomous and reliable
