Job Description
Transaction & Investment Structuring
- Advise on the acquisition, structuring and execution of hospitality and real-estate investments in Switzerland and abroad.
- Support the establishment of investment vehicles, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements and co-investment structures across multiple jurisdictions.
Development, Construction & Asset Lifecycle
- Provide legal support from pre-development phases through construction contracting, including general contractor agreements, architect/engineer engagements and technical consultants.
- Review and negotiate commercial agreements related to hotel operations, leasing, facility management and operator contracts.
- Contribute to value-creation strategies, oversee operational legal issues and support exit processes (asset or corporate divestment).
Financing & Capital Structures
- Assist with debt structuring, refinancing and security packages linked to hospitality and real-estate assets.
Contracting & Corporate Documentation
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts (NDAs, mandates, leasing, development agreements, advisory mandates).
- Prepare corporate documentation (board minutes, shareholder resolutions, governance documents).
Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Swiss and international legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to hotel and real-estate assets.
- Monitor regulatory developments and perform risk assessments.
Stakeholder Management & Internal Processes
- Collaborate closely with investment, finance and asset-management teams.
- Manage external counsels in Switzerland and internationally.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of internal legal processes and documentation.
The Successful Applicant
- 7+ years of experience in relevant roles, ideally a mix of law firm and in-house positions.
- Proven background in real-estate or hotel asset acquisitions, development projects and operational legal matters.
- Strong understanding of project finance, particularly in real-estate or hospitality contexts.
- Mandatory experience working in Switzerland and with Swiss regulatory, contractual and transactional standards.
- Trilingual: fluency in French, English and German (spoken and written).
- Entrepreneurial mindset, pragmatic and solutions-oriented, able to operate independently and manage complex stakeholder environments.
