Careers that Change Lives The Senior Marketing Manager ENT EMEA will report directly to the Senior Business Director ENT and dotted line to the Sr Global Marketing Director ENT. In this role he/she will lead the Marketing activities for ENT EMEA, working very closely with all countries in the region to ensure strong strategic and tactical alignment. A Day in the Life MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES · Strong leadership and people management. Actively leading, coaching developing the integrated Marketing team within SHQ and in the countries. Fosters and creates an environment for talent development; active member of the ENT EMEA Senior Leadership team and point of contact for SBU marketing leadership. · Contributes to the establishment of the vision, strategy and annual goals and objectives of the EMEA ENT business around the 3 pillars: - Think procedure => Therapy marketing - Service and Solution=> Disease-state programs and Patient pathway - Go to market=> Going direct, Multichannel and Digital · Develops annual marketing plans according to EMEA ENT business objectives based on a deep understanding of the markets. · Key driver in EMEA ENT Marketing area. Is proactively partnering with the RTG Organization; Is knowledgeable and voices the EMEA ENT needs boldly to get them appropriately addressed. Provides input to Strategic Business Unit staff to develop core marketing strategies, tactics and specific materials to support local markets. · Develops and leads the execution of EMEA marketing strategies to grow ENT business across the region and achieve AOP objectives. Marketing strategies include product launches and general product marketing, market development initiatives, consumer and web marketing, external alliances, marketing communications and congress management. · Facilitates country specific adaptation and implementation of marketing strategies/tactics. Builds and maintains relationships to country and regional ENT teams. Support the marketing teams in the countries, in partnership with the regional and country business managers. Provide inputs to SFE to ensure the monitoring of campaign execution and outcomes. · Leads the new Digital project inside and outside of Medtronic ENT and creates a cross functional network inside and outside of Medtronic. Must Have: Minimum Requirements · Business or Healthcare related (medical or scientific) degree or its equivalent. · Master degree in Life-science, Marketing or Business Administration or another relevant, advanced degree is a strong plus. · Proven strong commercial and business acumen with the strategic vision to drive and maximize growth and profitability. · Relevant marketing experience in healthcare industry incl. Pricing · Proven ability to influence and develop relationship with both senior internal and external stakeholders, as well as key decision makers at senior level · Experience in KOL development and management · At least 10 years’ experience in a senior sales & marketing role, preferably in the medical device industry (but not an exclusion-criteria), with a proven track record at driving growth. · Passion for new and emerging technologies, ability to anticipate market trends ahead of the curve and build plans to capitalize on the potential opportunities presented · A positive person with strong entrepreneurial skills who brings passion, energy and excellence in execution to his/her work · Experience in managing complex projects. · Demonstrated track record in designing & deploying programs to develop markets/businesses · Strong leadership and influence skills at all levels of the business. · A team player with a track record of working collaboratively to manage cross-functional, cross-business issues and generate impact and results through others. · Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. · Experience working in a matrix structure. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English.
