We are looking to recruit for its International Headquarter based in Neuchâtel the position of: 

Senior Payroll Specialist 100% - Neuchâtel


Specific responsibilities of the role:

  • Maintains payroll information by supervising the data collection, calculation and entering of the data for more than 20 countries (EMEA, LATAM, APAC);
  • Ensures compliant payments of salaries, taxes and social charges for all countries on a timely and monthly basis;
  • Reconciles payroll accounts with General Ledger on a monthly basis;  
  • Reviews and updates monthly vacation accruals in coordination with Finance;
  • Ensures correct payroll treatment of stock options grants and exercises;
  • Manages all aspects of year-end processes;
  • Responsible for SOX and financial audits of payroll processes;
  • Reviews payroll providers’ invoices and contracts;
  • Develops fact-sheets for each country;
  • Complies with state and local legal requirements by advising management of needed actions and enforcing adherence to requirements;
  • Works on specific payroll projects in collaboration with the manager and director of Human Resource;
  • Maintains and protects employee information and payroll operations by keeping information confidential;
  • The supervision of 2 payroll specialists will be considered after 6 months 


Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Experience with different countries and related payroll requirements;
  • Finance/accounting background is required;
  • Detail oriented and strong documentation control skills;
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently;
  • Appropriate handling of confidential information;
  • Experience working in a US company and multinational environment;
  • Fluent in English and French; any other language an advantage;
  • Swiss citizen or valid Swiss working permit;
