Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Management:
- Design, implement, and actively manage multi-asset portfolios across equities, fixed income, alternatives, and derivatives
- Deliver consistent risk-adjusted returns aligned with client mandates and firm objectives
- Apply top-down macro views alongside rigorous bottom-up security selection
Asset Allocation & Strategy:
- Develop and articulate tactical and strategic asset allocation views
- Contribute to the Investment Committee and drive house views
- Monitor global macroeconomic developments, market trends, and geopolitical risks
Risk Management:
- Ensure robust portfolio construction with disciplined risk budgeting
- Oversee liquidity, drawdown, and volatility management
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and internal controls
Client Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth and institutional clients
- Present investment strategies and performance in a clear, compelling manner
- Support business development initiatives and client acquisitions
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with senior management in shaping the investment offering
- Mentor junior investment professionals where relevant
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of investment processes and tools
The Successful Applicant
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in portfolio management, preferably within a leading international asset manager or investment bank
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-asset investing with a strong performance track record
- Background in a top-tier Anglo-Saxon financial institution strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of global financial markets, asset allocation frameworks, and portfolio construction techniques
- Strong communication and client-facing skills with high credibility
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a boutique, agile environment
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA or equivalent strongly preferred
