Senior Scientist Material Introduction and Release (m/w/d)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scientist – Material Release to strengthen the Quality Control team of a leading Life Science company. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the GMP-compliant introduction and release of materials and contribute significantly to the site’s high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure GMP-compliant introduction of manufacturing materials
  • Perform timely release of incoming purchased raw materials (including consumables) according to global and local procedures
  • Review analytical data, including LIMS job authorization and test result certification
  • Manage deviations, OOS, and change control processes in a compliant and timely manner
  • Actively participate in customer audits and regulatory inspections and ensure audit readiness
  • Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and QC teams on-site

Profile

  • University degree (BSc/MSc) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field, with several years of professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in GMP-regulated industries, preferably in international companies
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Quality Control and/or Quality Assurance
  • Strong expertise in deviation, change control, and CAPA processes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a precise and reliable working style
  • Fluency in English is required; German skills are a strong asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is advantageous
