About the position

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Software Product Developer to join our innovative team at Capgemini Engineering. Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of complex software systems for software-defined vehicles, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions.
• Collaborate with global teams to define product requirements, architecture, and technical specifications.
• Design and implement advanced software features for autonomous driving, connected car technologies, and in-vehicle infotainment systems.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices in software development.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and maintenance.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in automotive software development.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methods.

Required Technical Skills and Certifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years focused on automotive software.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, and AUTOSAR.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems, real-time operating systems, and automotive communication protocols (CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
• Experience with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and other relevant automotive standards.
• Familiarity with agile development methods and tools (e.g., JIRA, Git).
• Certifications in relevant technologies or methods (e.g., AUTOSAR, Certified Scrum Master) are a plus.

Desired Experience Level and Background:

• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects in the automotive industry.
• Experience with architectures and related technologies for software-defined vehicles.
• Background in developing software for autonomous driving systems, ADAS, or connected car features.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices in automotive software development.
• Experience working in a global, multicultural environment.
