Purpose of the job
The Stewarding Manager \& Instructor is responsible for leading both the educational and operational aspects of the school's stewarding function, ensuring excellence in food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and operational standards.
The role involves teaching and coaching students through theoretical and practical training in stewarding operations, HACCP, workplace safety, chemical handling, and sustainability practices. Simultaneously, the incumbent manages the stewarding team and supports kitchen, service and event operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
Working closely with academic and operational stakeholders, the position ensures that industry best practices are consistently applied and that operational standards are fully aligned with the learning experience provided to students.

Key responsibilities
Teach, supervise and assess students in stewarding operations.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Stewarding Department.
Lead, coach, and develop the Stewarding team.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, hygiene, and health \& safety standards.
Coordinate academic and operational activities to ensure alignment between training and industry practices.
We are looking for someone who has :
Teaching and facilitation skills
Experience in Student coaching and assessment
Effective classroom and workshop management
Ability to translate operational expertise into learning experiences
Proven experience in the implementation and enforcement of health, safety, and food safety standards.
Experience working in an international and multicultural environment.
