MAIN PURPOSE
Corporate Affairs protects and enhances Richemont-s reputation and long-term value through responsible practices and by navigating complex regulatory landscapes as well as fostering positive relations with key stakeholders. Corporate Sustainability, sitting within Corporate Affairs, ensures the integration of sustainability into the business while advising on investments to prevent, reduce and mitigate environmental and social disruption to ensure business continuity.
Reporting to the Engagement Director, the Sustainability Engagement Manager is responsible for driving internal and external engagement to support the implementation of the Group's sustainability strategy. This role will focus on fostering collaboration across Maisons and Regions, managing external stakeholder relationships, and ensuring alignment with the Group's sustainability framework. The ideal Engagement Manager has a deep understanding of the business, culture and knows how to make change happen. The Engagement Manager will be responsible for transversally supporting the department-s projects to develop and implement the stakeholder engagement plans.
A core requirement of this position is to work from our Bellevue office a minimum of four days per week to foster collaboration and team cohesion.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
- Collaborate with Maisons and Regions on strategic and budget planning to ensure visibility of sustainability initiatives and associated investments
- Formalise a review, approval process and tooling to ensure contribution to the overarching sustainability strategy and frameworks
- Promote mutualisation and efficient management of the Group's resources
- Revise the existing Corporate Donations Framework for donations to reassess current policies, procedures, and expenditures
- Advise on the Group's and Maison's presence in relevant associations, organizations, and working groups
- Support strategic interactions and consistent communications with external stakeholders to protect and enhance the Group's reputation and long-term value
- Drive engagement for activities and publications related to Corporate Sustainability
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- At least 8+ years of relevant experience, ideally within a corporate sustainability role within the luxury industry
- Proven track record in a global context
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in project management and implementation
- Strong understanding of sustainability principles, frameworks, and best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and levels of the organisation
- The ideal candidate is pragmatic, a problem solver, thrives under pressure, and excels at multitasking. Has the ability to make decisive and timely decisions while acting with authority
- Strong strategic vision but is also comfortable taking a hands-on approach to achieve results
- Candidates should also have demonstrable skills in the following areas:
- Experience within the luxury industry
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in both written and spoken English, other languages such as French, Italian or German would be a plus
- Team spirit to collaborate with diverse and international teams
- Be able to work cross-functionally and build relationships in the Group
