Our client, an international group, leader in its field with an important renowned and a know-how in high technology; he is looking for the following profile to develop its IT and R&D field:
Your challengesIT systems maintenance and migrations (Troubleshooting).
Participate in the end-user training.
Be accountable for Group IT policy and Best Practices enforcement.
Review existing operational procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
Project work to develop the evolution of our Service Desk platform.
Manage the delivery of projects through the complete lifecycle from initiation to completion, meeting the key success criteria set by management.
Use best practice risk management, assess risks, escalade to Management, track centrally and plan for the mitigation.
Assist in team management (as a backup).
Participate in the process of assessing third-parties.
Contribute to the ongoing evaluation, development and improvement of robust infrastructure.
Flexible approach to working hours: shift hours and on-call support.
Your skillsPost school qualification as a minimum and IT technical qualification
Very fluent in English, German, a real asset.
Minimum 5 years of experience in installing and supporting IT systems.
Relevant qualification or experience in end users Support.
Strong experience in Microsoft core technologies (Win2008Srv, win2012Srv).
Experience in mail filtering products, communication and collaboration tools, video conferencing, backup, protection tools, virtualization and networking equipment.
Good knowledge of network and video conference technologies for operation and support tasks.
Practice in project management.
Experience with VMWARE Products, an asset.
Knowledge on 2012 Microsoft products (AD 2012, SCCM), an asset.
Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language and to train users one-to-one and to groups.
Highly self-motivated and directed.
Willingness to travel overseas when business requires.
Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
