Due to continued growth, we are seeking an outstanding Teacher of English to join our Secondary team.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to teach English in a school that values intellectual challenge, precision of thought and excellence in communication.

The successful candidate will:
• Teach English across the IB Middle Years Programme
• Teach IB Diploma English, depending on experience
• Deliver rigorous, well structured lessons aligned to IB philosophy and assessment
• Develop pupils’ analytical writing, reading comprehension and oracy skills
• Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment design and moderation
• Support literacy development across the school
• Contribute fully to pastoral life and the wider co curricular programme

We are looking for a teacher who combines strong subject knowledge with clarity of instruction and high expectations.

The Candidate

• Has experience teaching English within the IB MYP and ideally the IBDP
• Understands IB assessment criteria and curriculum design
• Is academically rigorous and well organised
• Sets high expectations and secures strong academic outcomes
• Communicates clearly and professionally with parents and colleagues

IB experience and International school experience are advantageous.
