Job Description

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Perform daily accounting tasks and support month-end and year-end closings
• Manage client fee processing and monitoring
• Handle invoicing, expenses, accruals, interests, cash position monitoring
• Prepare and monitor reconciliations (accounts, positions, transactions)
• Support regulatory reporting requirements
• Assist with VAT calculations and declarations
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and Swiss banking standards

Business Intelligence & Systems

• Collaborate with IT on process automation and data-driven initiatives
• Support the bank's ongoing AI and digital transformation projects
• Assist in improving reporting structures and data flows
• Contribute to system testing, validation, and enhancements

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting within the banking sector
• Strong understanding of banking operations and accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, macros)
• Experience with SQL and/or Python
• Comfortable working with large datasets and reporting tools
• Ability to communicate clearly with both finance and IT teams
• Fluent in English or French; both is an advantage

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau
• Knowledge of APSYS banking system
• Background in a Big 4 accounting or audit firm
• Experience with system migrations or automation projects
