Le Rosey : With a reputation spanning generations, Le Rosey is the oldest and largest boarding school in Switzerland. It offers a unique range of original summer camps in Rolle and Gstaad.

The Position : Le Rosey Camps is seeking qualified Nurses to provide health care and medical support for students aged 8–16 years during its summer camps in June, July, and August.

The Camp Nurse is responsible for ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of all campers and staff. This includes managing minor injuries and illnesses, administering medication, maintaining health records, and providing guidance on hygiene and health practices. The role is residential, and the nurse participates actively in camp life and emergency procedures.

Candidates must:

Have previous experience working with children and/or in a camp or residential setting
Have an excellent command of English
Demonstrate the following qualities:
Responsible and safety-minded
Calm and resilient under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and attentive to children’s needs
Team player

Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent healthcare qualification
Experience in pediatric or adolescent care is highly desirable
First-aid, CPR, and emergency response training
Experience working in international or multicultural environments is an asset

Responsibilities
Provide first aid and routine medical care for campers and staff
Monitor and manage medication administration
Keep accurate health records and maintain confidentiality
Advise staff and campers on hygiene, wellness, and health-related matters
Assist with health and safety protocols, including emergency planning
Participate in camp activities as needed and support the overall wellbeing of the camp community

The camps are held at our Rolle campus near Lake Geneva and in Gstaad in the Bernese Alps.

Staff are required to be present, depending on the camp, two to four days prior to the start of the program. During this period, staff receive information, training, and are integrated into the summer camp team.
