As a Junior Analyst - Private Equity, you will receive comprehensive training in critical areas such as financial modeling, building investment convictions through a thematic approach, equipping you with essential skills for your career. You will gain valuable hands-on experience within our Private Equity team, contributing to various projects and supporting our efforts in identifying, analyzing, and recommending investment opportunities. This position offers a unique chance to develop both your technical and interpersonal skills while working collaboratively within a dynamic team.
We are seeking young professionals eager to build a successful career in private equity. Ideal candidates will have 18-24 months of experience working in private equity, investment banking, consulting or transaction services, after having graduated from top universities. Throughout your journey, you will also have the opportunity to build a robust network of peers and industry professionals, setting the stage for future success.
Pictet Alternative Advisors (PAA) is a leading alternative investment group and a wholly owned subsidiary of Pictet with expertise in hedge funds, private equity, real estate and private debt. With teams based globally, PAA constructs, manages and advises portfolios of alternative investment solutions for institutional and private clients.
You will be joining a dynamic and growing investment team based in Geneva and will support the global efforts to identify, analyse and recommend investments in funds, secondaries and co-investments.
Your role
- Assisting in identifying and evaluating potential minority direct investments, co-investments, secondaries and fund investments with a broad scope in terms of industry and location.
- Conducting research on industries and companies, and supporting the development of financial models to highlight key metrics for investment decisions.
- Contributing to the analysis of companies and gathering due diligence data to support investment recommendations, while recognizing industry trends and potential challenges.
- Writing presentations and memos analyzing new investment opportunities.
- Supporting the monitoring of the performance of portfolio company investments.
Your profile
