Role Overview

We are seeking a Commissioning & Qualification Engineer with demonstrated experience and fluency in French to join a long-term pharmaceutical project in Évreux, France. The engineer will support the full CQV lifecycle for GMP-critical systems and equipment, from early commissioning through final qualification and readiness for commercial operation.

This role is fully onsite and embedded within a multidisciplinary project team, requiring technical independence, strong documentation skills, and the ability to interact daily in a French-speaking operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review key CQV documents: URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ
• Coordinate and execute commissioning activities including FAT, SAT, loop checks, and system start-up
• Lead or support deviation management, risk assessments, and change control related to qualification
• Liaise effectively with engineering, automation, QA, and operations to ensure project alignment
• Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and technical discussions with internal and client stakeholders
• Report regularly to the CQV Lead and provide status updates and risk assessments as needed

Required Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a relevant field (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Pharmaceutical Engineering)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Commissioning & Qualification within GMP-regulated industries
• In-depth knowledge of GMP guidelines and international standards (ISPE, ASTM E2500, GAMP 5)
• Fluency in French for documentation and day-to-day communication; strong working proficiency in English
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
• Full-time availability onsite in Évreux for the entire project duration
