About Our Client
Our client is an international organization located in Nyon.
Job Description
The Finance Assistant 60% we are looking for will contribute to achieving the following objectives :
- Ensure efficient and timely processing of day-to-day accounting tasks, travel expenses and hotel invoices, including coordinating with relevant staff and approvers for approvals and documentation
- Create Purchase Orders and manage the processing of cross-charge journals within the ERP system
- Assist in accurately entering accruals for income and expenditure
- Regularly monitor the Power BI dashboard to verify that all expenses are correctly recorded and that commitments are cleared promptly
- Perform regular reconciliations between financial reports and payments, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end reconciliation processes
- Assist in reconciling the final reports with the ERP data to support the preparation of financial reports and facilitate the audit process
The Successful Applicant
The Finance Assistant 60% will bring the following background and experience :
- A bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Management, Administration, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Proven experience in accounts payable, with a strong understanding of financial processing and reporting
- Proficiency in using computer systems, knowledge of the Microsoft Navision is desirable
- A dynamic self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new processes and adapt to changing priorities, while maintaining high levels of accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Flexible and adaptable, with a positive approach to various work tasks and challenges
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English; any other language would be a plus.
