EMEA Recruitment is proud to assist a fast-paced, industry-leading organization in its search for a Group Accounting Manager as it continues to grow through increased demand.

As the Group Accounting Manager, you'll be part of a growing team and have varied responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will bring strong technical Accounting expertise, deep IFRS knowledge, and experience operating within complex multinational organizations.

This opportunity would suit an individual currently operating as a Financial Controller, Head of Accounting, or a Senior Manager within a Big 4 environment, ideally combined with subsequent industry experience.

Responsibilities of the Group Accounting Manager:

• Support the Group Head of Accounting & Controlling across global Accounting activities
• Oversee and manage group Accounting processes and controls
• Ensure accurate and timely group reporting under IFRS
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Review complex Accounting matters and provide technical Accounting guidance
• Coordinate with regional Finance teams and business stakeholders globally
• Support external audits and liaise with auditors as required
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Accounting processes and systems
• Contribute to Finance transformation and system enhancement projects
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, controls, and regulatory requirements

Candidate profile:

• Approximately 10+ years of relevant Accounting and Finance experience
• Strong technical Accounting background with demonstrable IFRS expertise
• Background within Big 4 Audit/Advisory highly desirable, ideally combined with industry experience

• Could currently be operating as:

  • Group Accounting Manager
  • Financial Controller
  • Head of Accounting
  • Senior Manager within a Big 4 firm
• Demonstrable SAP experience is highly desirable, ideally SAP S/4HANA
• Experience within oil & gas, energy, commodities, or similarly complex international industries preferred
• Strong ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
