BACKGROUND


Following an internal movement, we are opening this position within our Group FP&A department in Bellevue and are looking forward to receiving your application.


The role is dedicated to business partnership with Specialist Watchmakers Maisons and is responsible for transversal responsibilities across different areas/business units in the Group. It is exposed to the Group top management, across various forums and recurring occurrences. The core objective is to analyse businesses performance, mastering the key drivers and building blocks behind actual performance and financial planning.


How will you make an impact?


Reporting to the Finance Manager SWM, this role will be responsible for the following areas (including but not limited to):


Business partnership with Specialist Watchmakers Maisons

  • Together with Specialist Watchmakers finance teams, analyze performance against benchmarks and plans, providing timely analysis and performance bridges
  • Organize and lead regular business meetings with Specialist Watchmakers CFOs and Heads of Controlling
  • Prepare clear reports summarizing Specialist Watchmakers performance, focusing on key drivers, risks and opportunities, adapting details for multiple stakeholders
  • Share insights on Group performance, priorities and initiatives with Maison finance teams to support decision-making
  • Manage the Commitment Approval Request (CAR) process for Specialist Watchmakers Maisons, partnering with finance teams and ensuring compliance

Transversal responsibilities within Group FP&A department

  • Analyze and benchmark Gross Margin performance across the Group, identifying deviations and partnering with finance teams to develop in-depth knowledge
  • Measure the impact of Foreign Exchange (FX) fluctuations on the Group P&L
  • Provide sensitivity and scenario analysis to support informed decision-making

Ad-hoc projects

  • Take a leadership role across various projects, working closely with Group Finance management and business leaders, to design and execute financial solutions to complex business challenges across the Group

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

 

Education, experience and core competencies

  • Business school or University degree in Finance, Controlling, Economics or associated fields
  • More than 5 years- proven experience in multinational, structured and complex organizations
  • Proven track record of managing, budgeting and reporting Financial statements, including P&L, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet
  • Master financial reporting, analysis, and benchmarking, translating insights into business drivers and clear messages
  • Skilled in designing, modelling, and challenging financial planning scenarios
  • Familiarity with Financial reporting and planning systems (e.g. SAP, Anaplan, etc.)
  • Fluency in English is a must, French is considered a plus

Personal and methodological skills

  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Ability to drill-down into the detailed reports and business plans when needed, summarizing then the output accurately to diversified stakeholders
  • Ability to manage pressure and tight deadlines, adapt to unforeseen circumstances, and recalibrate priorities as needed
  • Hands-on approach, proactively anticipating business needs
  • Strong sense of ownership

 

Social skills

  • Excellent communicator with story-telling abilities
  • Ability to adapt to different internal stakeholders and related leadership styles
