Description
Join the FIA and lead a transformative agenda at the intersection of global sport, mobility, and corporate governance. As Head of Diversity & Inclusion, you will be the architect of a more inclusive, equitable, and representative future for our Federation, its members, and its community.
As Head of Diversity & Inclusion, you will have a central role in translating the FIA’s D&I ambition into measurable progress across our Sport, Mobility, and Corporate divisions. You will manage a high-impact team, embed inclusion into our governance, and ensure our culture reflects our global community. Your expertise will be critical in positioning the FIA as a reference in inclusive governance. You will report to the Senior Director of People, Workplace, Diversity & Inclusion.
MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
STRATEGY, GOVERNANCE & REPORTING
Develop and implement the FIA D&I strategy, aligned with the FIA Manifesto, the Sustainability & D&I framework, and global best practices.
Build D&I policies, standards, and charters applicable to all FIA offices, events, and member organisations.
Define and track D&I KPIs, integrating them into FIA’s performance dashboards and annual reports.
Manage the FIA Diversity & Inclusion Commission, ensuring rigorous follow-up, and produce the annual FIA D&I Report.
Provide expert input to Senior Management on inclusion-related topics and monitor global regulatory trends.
PROGRAMME DELIVERY & IMPLEMENTATION
Lead the design and roll-out of global initiatives on gender equality, accessibility, cultural diversity, and inclusive leadership.
Oversee key programmes such as Women in Motorsport, Disability and Accessibility in Sport, and Social Impact & Representation.
Ensure each FIA office (Geneva, Paris, London) and each Division has an actionable D&I plan with clear ownership and measurable results.
Manage the D&I budget, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and alignment with strategic objectives.
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT & CULTURAL ADVOCACY
Drive internal awareness, training, and behavioural change on inclusion, unconscious bias, and allyship.
Partner with HR and Communications to embed inclusion in recruitment, career development, and internal communications, supporting all Employee Groups.
Represent the FIA in international D&I forums (e.g., UNESCO, IOC) and build partnerships with NGOs and corporate sponsors.
Support FIA Member Clubs in designing and deploying their own inclusion frameworks and initiatives.
PROFILE:
University degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, International Relations, or a related field.
At least 10+ years of experience in D&I, CSR, or sustainability roles, including at least 5 years in international or matrix environments.
Proven experience in designing and implementing diversity or social impact strategies with measurable outcomes.
Familiarity with global sports, NGO, or intergovernmental organisations is a strong asset.
Strong analytical, policy-development, and strategic planning skills.
Strong project management skills, including budget oversight and KPI tracking.
Strategic vision combined with an operational, hands-on drive to deliver results.
Fluent English (written and spoken) is required. Working proficiency in another language (e.g., French) is strongly preferred.
This position can be based at the FIA offices in Geneva
