Legal Director - Join Kanadevia Inova's Renewable Gas Revolution!
Kanadevia Inova (KVI) is transforming the renewable gas sector through innovative Asset Management. We are seeking a Legal Director to lead the legal strategy for our asset portfolio, ensuring seamless project execution and regulatory compliance.
In this role, you will:
- Provide legal advice to the executive team on various Asset Management operations and projects.
- Offer legal support across all stages of investment-led and engineering-led projects, from development to handover.
- Assist in structuring joint ventures, drafting and negotiating key project agreements, and advising on regulatory matters.
- Work with Asset Management teams to ensure legal compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with project goals.
- Manage disputes, liaise with external counsel, and implement legal policies to protect KVI's interests.
Qualifications
- Law degree (JD, LLB or equivalent). Admission to practice in the UK or a EU jurisdiction a plus
- 8+ years PQE, with significant in-house or top-tier law firm experience in plant projects delivery, operation and management (waste to energy, power, oil & gas infrastructure, or utilities)
- Proven ability to manage complex investment transactions and legal risk in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in business English, working level knowledge of German or other languages a plus
- Other: Proven expertise in drafting high-quality legal documents, strong leadership and negotiation skills, deep understanding of regulatory regimes and multi-jurisdictional infrastructure investments, with a solutions-oriented, assertive, and detail-focused approach
