We are looking for an Academic Librarian.

Academic Librarian

• Deliver in-person and online support to SHMS staff and students in information literacy, research skills, study skills, and access to both SHMS and University of Derby resources.
• Manage and coordinate the Student Adviser Scheme (SAS) at SHMS.
• Purchase and process all new library materials and resources.
• Maintain and manage the SHMS print collection.
• Develop and deliver library and information literacy sessions across all academic programmes.
• Promote new resources and create guidance materials to support faculty and students in their use of library services and resources.
• Provide additional support for neurodivergent students, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Manage and maintain the SHMS Library Moodle pages.
