Manpower is proud to support Philip Morris International (PMI) in their global transformation. We are currently looking for a highly skilled and visionary Manager, Store Architecture to join their Brand Retail team on a temporary assignment.
Your Mission
As the Store Architecture Manager, you will lead the creative and technical development of Direct Retail store designs across global markets. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external agencies to deliver impactful, consumer-centric environments that reflect PMI’s evolving brand and retail strategy.
? Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full design process of retail store projects — from initial brief to validation of technical drawings.
- Deliver high-quality, brand-aligned store concepts that integrate storytelling, functionality, and commercial needs.
- Adapt and tailor store designs for key international locations in collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Champion continuous design innovation, staying ahead of retail trends and digital integration.
- Help refine and evolve PMI’s global design guidelines and execution methodologies.
- Support architectural deployment teams to ensure project delivery on time, on equity, and within budget.
- Act as a creative leader and advocate for Brand Retail design across stakeholders and leadership.
? What You Bring
- Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (BA/BS or MA/MS).
- 10+ years of experience in retail design (corporate or agency side), with a strong portfolio of successful executions.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex design projects across regions.
- Strong design sensitivity and ability to translate brand DNA into physical experiences.
- Proficiency in key design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp).
- Hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience working in fast-paced, matrixed, and multinational environments.
