About Our Client
Our client is an international organisation based in Geneva, operating in a highly regulated and structured environment.
As part of a short-term backfill assignment, the organisation is seeking an Operations & Due Diligence Support Consultant to reinforce its Operations functions during a peak activity period.
Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Operations and working closely with senior administrative and compliance stakeholders, the consultant will provide operational support across vendor onboarding, due diligence processes and coordination activities.
Due Diligence & Operations Support (50%)
- Coordinate and conduct due diligence assessments for new vendors using dedicated risk assessment tools and questionnaires.
- Ensure consistent application of internal risk, compliance and procurement policies.
- Review and analyse vendor data using third-party intelligence platforms to support risk scoring.
- Ensure due diligence documentation is complete, accurate and properly stored in procurement systems.
- Liaise with Procurement and Legal teams to address data gaps or compliance issues.
- Prepare dashboards and reports on due diligence activity and identified risk trends.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of vendor data across procurement and ERP systems.
- Enter and maintain vendor-related information in internal corporate systems.
Operations & Events Support (50%)
- Support post-event administrative coordination, including expense reconciliation.
- Assist with the organisation and logistical coordination of side events and meetings taking place in Geneva.
- Provide ad-hoc operational support to the Director of Operations as required.
The Successful Applicant
Experience
- Previous experience in operations, due diligence, compliance or vendor risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to work with structured processes, documentation and data accuracy.
- Experience in an international or highly regulated environment is a strong asset.
Skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical mindset and confidence handling data.
- Good stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
- Comfortable working onsite and autonomously.
Systems & Tools
- Experience working with ERP;
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
Languages
- Fluent English required
- Knowledge of French is an asset.
