How you make a difference
- You develop, implement and optimize data catalogue solutions with SPARQL, Java or Python.
- Using powerful data collection solutions in Java, you tap into a variety of data sources efficiently.
- You manage and expand meta data in the data catalogue and ensure it remains high quality and consistent.
- By implementing data governance guidelines, you make sure the relevant standards are observed.
- In close cooperation with interdisciplinary teams, you spearhead the introduction of linked data principles.
- Your work helps improve data traceability thanks to sophisticated semantic modelling and structuring.
- You identify potential vulnerabilities in the data processes early on and proactively go about fixing them.
What you have to offer
- You have a degree in IT or comparable professional experience.
- You have solid expertise in the whole ETL process, from semantic modelling and transformation to migration into the triplestore.
- You feel just as confident using Java and Python as you do writing efficient SPARQL queries for productive use.
- Ideally, you have experience with common cloud platforms (especially AWS) and rational database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server and SAP HANA.
- You are able to use your strong communication skills to explain complex technical content clearly to non-specialist stakeholders, and your analytical skills enable you to make entrepreneurial decisions.
- You are a meticulous worker with a keen eye for detail who is able to guarantee high data quality and consistent meta data.
- You have a good spoken and written command of English and German or French.
