Strategic Funding Manager (80-100%)
Location: Geneva When: 1 November 2025 or upon availability
Your mission:
In this role, you will work with Business units head to ensure the sustainable funding of Skyguide-s activities and with Strategy to enhance Skyguide business model and identify new potential financing sources to increase Skyguide sustainability.
Your tasks:
- Lead and manage the process for defining Air Navigation revenues for En Route and CAT I products, representing 80% of Skyguide revenues
- Provide strategic oversight of funding developments and ensure alignment with Skyguide's long-term vision (e.g. preparation or Reference Period 5)
- Leverage the current European regulation to increase Skyguide revenues and propose modification to better remunerate Skyguide services. Stakeholder Management: alignment of internal and external stakeholders by adapting and executing the right governance and contribution to and representation of Skyguide in User Consultations.
- Financial Modelling: contribution of the establishment of Strategic Financial Plans (translation of strategic objectives into a financial long-term plan) and acting as bridge between finance and strategy, ensuring financial insights support strategic priorities.
- Conduct benchmarks with other ANSPs.
- Ensure internal processes, governance, and tools are aligned with ANS revenue deliverables (e.g. managerial accounting evolution, strategic and portfolio linkage)
- Backup of Business Partner Air Navigation Services Revenues
What we are looking for:
- University degree in economics
- Several years of experience in a similar environment, ideally in the aviation sector
- Strong expertise in financial modelling, strategic financial planning and investment fund management
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally
- Initiative: You proactively develop new methods and solutions, identify challenges, initiate necessary changes, and offer help to others when needed
- Teamwork: You engage in interactions with diverse team members and actively contribute information, ideas, and insights in meetings or other interactions
- Self & social awareness: You manage emotions effectively, staying composed under stress and avoiding impulsive reactions
- Strong communication skills in English and French or German
