As a Supply Chain Quality Manager – High-Volume Parts (m/f/d), you will play a key role in driving quality excellence and quality improvement across our global value chain for high volume turbocharger parts. This role goes beyond managing current quality management — you will actively shape and implement quality assurance processes, that strengthen supply chain quality and resilience to create long-term value. Your Responsibilities: 

Quality Strategy

  • Develop and implement robust supply chain quality strategy, framework and processes for high-volume manufacturing environment (PPAP).

Quality Assurance 

  • Define and maintain quality standards, procedures, and documentation ( , control plans, work instructions).
  • Establish and manage quality gates and processes with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead process validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) and ensure production readiness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Suppliers, Quality Inspection, Logistics and Production) to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks early in the supply process, collaborating closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to enhance part quality.
  • Serve as the quality representative for high volume parts, ensuring early integration of quality standards and effective use of lessons learned.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Quality Performance

  • Establish statistical process control methods and monitor key quality metrics.

Quality Continuous Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Manage non-conformance processes and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in quality engineering within high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with process validation and industrialization.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including APQP, PPAP, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and accountable - you identify opportunities, take ownership, and deliver measurable improvements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and organizational levels.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, up to 10%.
