Windows/Linux System Administrator

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with a strong background in both Windows and Linux environments, to support and maintain our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of database systems, warehouse operations, and security controls, and will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers and workstations 
•  Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively 
•  Manage and optimize database systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) 
•  Support warehouse-related IT systems and ensure seamless integration 
•  Implement and oversee IT security measures (firewalls, access controls, antivirus) 
•  Maintain system documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards 
•  Collaborate with internal teams to support business operations

Profile

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in system administration 
•  Strong expertise in Windows Server, Linux distributions, and virtualization technologies 
•  Proven experience with database management and optimization 
•  Familiarity with warehouse systems and logistics-related IT processes 
•  Solid understanding of IT security protocols and tools 
•  Fluent in English (spoken and written) 
•  German language skills are a plu
