About the Internship program

This is an internship opportunity for university students, who are required to complete a mandatory work experience as part of their study curriculum. The organization provides the practical work experience, with defined timeframes and objectives driven by university and curriculum. The experience may include a research project and / Masters thesis.

The internship in Aerosol Modeling will be centered on conducting computational simulations and analyses related to aerosol flows. You will be exposed to a range of scientific problems concerning multi-phase flows by testing, validating and applying our CFD platform (www.aerosolved.com) or other simulations tools. Examples of applications can go from aerosol inhalation into the lungs to aerosol generation and transport in commercial devices.

Roles & Objectives
You will be help us develop customized CFD solvers. You will be responsible of running simulations and parametric studies in in-house super-computers. You will visualize and analyze the results, present them to colleagues to increase our insight and improve the decision making process.

We're currently looking for:

A student with ideally the following skills/experience:
o Currently studying for his/her Master in Applied Mathematics/Physics/Engineering
o Knowledge concerning Fluid Mechanics / Computational Fluid Dynamics
o Skills in OpenFOAM® simulation package are advantageous
o Expertise in scripting and programming
o Interest in High-Performance Computing or Scientific Computing
o Fluent in English
