Semtech, a leader in the IoT and LPWAN industry is actively looking for a Digital Signal Designer for wireless
transceivers. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with a passion for developing technical
designs that assist in bring new products to market which enable growth and success for the organization. The
successful incumbent will join an experienced team and be part of the growth and expansion of the IoT market.
The successful candidate can be based in Neuchatel, Switzerland or St. Ismier, France.
Key Responsibilities

Integration of multiple IPs or core into a SoC design
Direct interaction with core/block developers for complete integration
Direct interaction with verification team, define and drive verification
Assisting with RTL and gate-level simulation debug
Work with Physical design team for complete design performance achievement including timing
closure assistance
Create SoC documentation including address and interrupt maps, block diagrams, complete lowlevel design descriptions and chip specification


Seven years of industry experience in ASIC/SoC Design and Integration
Demonstrated experience in block design using VHDL, Verilog & SystemVerilog RTL
Experience in completing synthesis, static timing analysis, clock domain crossing, gated clock
Working knowledge in : C, C++, TCL or Perl for script purposes
Strong knowledge in processors and complex SOCs
Scripting knowledge for automation of design methodologies & flows
Experience gained through academic or industry experience in low-power methodology
Experience with design verification methodologies like RVM/VMM/OVM/UVM
Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills
Strong understanding of chip integration procedures, methodologies & flows
Direct and relevant experience with multi-CPU core SOC solutions
ARM processor architecture understanding and knowledge
SoC development from design concept through silicon bring-up
