The Role
The successful candidate will report to the feed additive analytical service laboratory specialist and will be based in Switzerland. The candidate will occupy a key role within the team and will be responsible for the daily operation of the analytical chemistry laboratory by 1) conducting routine analysis needed to deliver on business requests following established protocols and processes, 2) ensuring the optimal daily lab functioning by actively participating processes follow up and lab continous improvement.
Your Responsibilities
Contribute to the daily operation of the analytical service :
- Perform laboratory experiments to answer business requests
- Follow established protocols and processes
- Ensure the traceability of experiments and results.
- Contribute to the preparation of protocols.
- Participate in the global laboratory tasks (maintenance of instruments, material cleaning, waste elimination, safety deployment and lab good laboratory practices)
- Propose and implement improvements to methods and organization, when necessary.
Your Profile
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Bachelor in chemistry, with at least three years of experience in a similar position.
- At least two years of experience in both gas and liquid chromatography.
- Experience with laboratory quality systems (e.g. GLP)
- Experience in mass spectrometry (GC and/or LC) and sample preparation are an asset.
- Autonomous, curious and meticulous, with excellent team spirit.
- Fluent in English, French is a plus.
- Proficient with standard Microsoft Office.
