Celgene International Headquarters are in Boudry (NE) and an additional manufacturing plant is being built in Couvet (NE) to support our growth. This site will primarily be dedicated to the manufacturing of solid dosage form products for patients in worldwide markets.

We offer the opportunity to participate in the setup of a new pharmaceutical manufacturing site, within a highly motivated and dynamic team. The Manufacturing Intern will be fully integrated in real life activities and will take responsibility for specific tasks related to installing and starting up production and packaging equipment and processes. He/she will work under the supervision
of an experienced engineer or the department manager.

Tasks and duties:
After a period of hands on training and shadowing, the Manufacturing Intern shall work with the Bulk Production and/or Packaging teams to set up the production workshops, to qualify the weighting, blending, encapsulation, compression, coating, and packaging equipment lines.

This position will be involved in operational GMP activities and participate in validation batches production, and as such will:
- Participate to the installation and commissioning of equipment,
- Participate to the validation of the production processes,
- Participate to the production of validation batches,
- Create and update technical documentation related to the use of equipment and manufacturing protocols, and ensure the proper recording and approval flow in the QualitySystem,
- Participate in the cleaning activities of GMP equipment,
- Verify, save and update pre-existing batch records,
- Define and follow up action plans to solve technical issues (with internal and external partners),
- Coordinate of the supply of raw material and format parts for the qualification and validation activities.

Requirements:
We are looking for a highly-motivated Intern with strong interest for technical and practical questions, curious, creative, resourceful, good communicator, team-player and at ease in a fastmoving environment.

The Manufacturing Intern is expected to work in a GMP area with individual protection equipment and to be field oriented.

The Intern needs to be at ease in English and in French, and holding either a BSc or MSc in Engineering.

A valid working permit is required.
